Cor's Tour du Canada Adventure 2005
July 12 - Day 18
Kindersley

Another hard day. Can't seem to figure out how to keep the energy up over these hot days but then again, most people are arriving in camp tired and spent. Today particularly so - about a third of the group became quite ill in the night. Fortunate for me, I did not and most probably would not have been able to ride today if I had been. At least 3 of the group rode in the truck today while the others made as many pitstops as they could in real bathrooms and sometimes just in the tall grass along the side of the road (there are not many trees to hide behind). As it was, by the time I finished the ride I did have a fairly upset stomach but this could have been just from the heat and different waters. Two provinces done, eight to go, we are now in Saskatchewan.
What I saw today - a green field in Alberta -
A green field with a giant golf ball on it -
The Saskatchewan border sign -
And a green field in Saskatchewan.
Really, there is more variety then that. Brown fields, fields with trees, thatched fields, and a few buildings here and there. The camp was in the larger community of Kindersley and there was a nice sunset reflecting on the clouds above the camp.
