Merritt

Ride to Merritt along the Nicola River valley. Again, lots of hills on this ride and lots of headwinds. This made for a tiring ride but beautiful scenery. Had a hard time keeping up with the group I was riding with at times. No map today due to GPS loosing memory between turning off and computer loading.
Sleeping camp ground. Early up due to nature's call so I took a picture of the setting. Very nice except for right beside the highway and rail lines.

First lunch stop after our first and steepest climb of the day. We were told about one major climb on today's route but ended up doing 4.
