I am on cook duty tonight and with the distance, did not look for many picture opportunities. Just tried to arrive as quickly as possible since I had been struggling the last few days. The first 70kms were hard with headwinds and hills but just before Sault Ste Marie the winds died, even becoming a good tail wind after the storm, and the hills ended and I was able to complete the rest of the ride quickly and help with the dinner. A very bad storm passed with a cold front just as I was going through Sault Ste. Marie so was able to quickly duck into a store for shelter. The afternoon slowly cleared for a beautiful setting on the shores of Lake Huron for our camp.

The sky really was this dark at noon, 1 minute later the rain was coming down hard enough for me not to see while riding.
