Tour du Canada 2021 Dates and Fees

The Board of Directors of Tour du Canada have confirmed the dates and fees for the 2021 cross-Canada ride.

The dates are: June 23 to September 3, 2021. Participants must be in Vancouver for June 23, accommodation is provided that night. The Orientation takes place in Vancouver on June 24 with the first riding day on June 25. The final riding day into St. John’s is September 3, accommodation is provided that night.

There will be a final confirmation of the end date in January when Marine Atlantic announces the ferry schedule from Sydney, Nova Scotia to Argentia, Newfoundland and Labrador.

The dates and fees are as follows

Dates and Fees are per person in Canadian dollars.

  • Dates: June 23, 2021 to September 3, 2021
  • Base fee: $6,025.00
  • HST: $263.54
  • Total: $6,288.54

Notes: HST is harmonized sales tax. This is a sales tax levied by the Ontario and Canadian governments.

There will be a (up to) $250.00 accommodation surcharge in the event we are not able to secure campsites and may put riders in indoor accommodation. The most likely possibility of this would be in Banff or Lake Louise where it is becoming increasingly difficult to secure sites. This accommodation would be in hostels or hotel rooms and may be 4 plus to a room with the possibility of mixed genders.
