Discouragement is setting in with all the damp weather. I really wish the ride was over but so close to the end, don't even think about quitting. Another day of packing up our gear wet but it is not raining as we leave. Short day of riding but general tiredness seems to be setting in making the day feel long even though I am only on the bike a little over 4 hours. I start my last cooking duty tonight. The group I cook with has made it as fun an experience as it can be but I still find these days hard ones to relax on. The one upside is that the sun is out in full force as the day progresses and we are able to dry out. Peoples moods are more positive. As I was taking some late evenning time lapse shots over the water, I noticed on reviewing the pictures a green glow in them. On a closer look at the sky as it was getting darker, I could start to see Northern Lights appear to my actual sight and took some more shots of it.
Shot taken over the Eel River Marsh
My tent with its view, great site.
Other scenic shots at camp.
Nathan listening to music and enjoying the view.
