Felt a lot better this morning but an early rise and leaving late made for a bit of a tired feeling ride. Tried some bird shots but the dark conditions made it hard to get a high enough shutter speed for the focal length I was using so not very clear. Drizzled pretty much all day until on the outskirts of Ottawa. I will hope to get some nice Ottawa shots tomorrow but no promises.
Pizza night at Carleton University in Ottawa.
I decided to get creative tonight and went out for a walk along the Rideau Canal and took 50 pictures while the sun was setting. These are the best of them in my opinion.
Another note for today. A group invited me along out to Byward Market. I don't drink but decided to join them for the social experience. Didn't bring the camera along because I did not want to have to think about it but regretted this as the downtown and Parliament area are very nicely lit at night. May come back tomorrow night to try some night shots. Bought a sheet of 5 bus passes so this should not be a problem. Nothing like doing a long bike ride then walking back to the University 7kms from downtown Ottawa at 2:00 in the morning.
