Cor's Tour du Canada Adventure 2005
August 11 - Day 48
Darlington
Previous Day - - Back to Daily Log - - Next Day
Very easy ride today. Little hilly at beginning where I continued on from where my long ride ended two days ago. And then it was a nice long downhill run to Lake Ontario and Darlington Park with little wind. The city traffic slowed me down a little bit but the route through Oshawa could not have been much better to keep us off the busiest streets. My daughter and niece made signs to welcome people into camp but it was a slow trickle so they only greeted a few before I went with the family back home for another night.
Niece Michelle and daughter Becky with their signs at the campground.
Scenic shot of creek at my sisters' house.
